Introduction

Christian Union is a section where students and teachers are empowered spiritually by use of Go’s word. KITAMBO MIXED SECONDARY SCHOOL nicknamed THE ALLIANCE OF RARIEDA is known for its spirituality. This is the only school where all staff i.e., the Principal, the Deputy Principal and Senior Teacher are saved. Here is God’s own dwelling place in fact, we have a field of pastoral, the field that is filled with holy spirit, every student who ran there comes out of the place with something to testify on Gods intervention.

We thank our beloved principal. Hon Michael Omollo who has always stood with us to ensure growth in our department. Many have heard of KITAMBO’S performance. Many are wondering what is happening there. I want to assure you that it is not by our fault but because of God’s mercy which is an abundant in our school. Having all teachers saved in a school is not normal if it not God’s grace.

Background & History

Mr.Michael Omeny Omollo,the current Principal Kitambo Mixed Sec School Commonly referred to as Student number one, Baba the fifth joined the school on 21st October 2004 but started teaching on 3rd January 2005. Being born again when joining the school, he saw the opportunity of serving God,hence he wrote on the Visitor's book, "this is Jesus's hand".

From 2005 to 2012, he served in the school as Christian Union Chairman and Guidance and Counselling Head of Department. As the pioneer school pastor, he laid a strong foundation of spiritual discipline which the school still enjoy upto now.

Madam Judith Awala took over as CU Patron and Guidance and Counselling mistress in 2012 to 2022.Madam Judith Omamo is the current CU Chairlady to date.
